At Wandercraft we pioneer intelligent robotics to help people do what they can’t do. We apply the most advanced robotics and AI to expand what’s possible for humans in the fields of healthcare and now industry. Founded in 2012, Wandercraft is globally recognized for creating the world’s first self-balancing walking exoskeleton, Atalante X, which is used in more than 100 rehabilitation centers across four continents helping individuals with disabilities re-learn how to walk, with over a million steps taken each month.

Building on over a decade of real-world experience and a proprietary neural network trained on billions of steps, we’re bringing mobility beyond clinical settings and into the home. Our personal exoskeleton, Eve, is a first-of-itskind device designed to assist wheelchair users in standing and walking in everyday life. Now we’re expanding our platform to support industrial and assistive tasks with the Calvin family of humanoid robots. Built in just 40 days, Calvin-40 is designed to relieve factory workers from hazardous labor. Future versions of Calvin will assist persons with reduced autonomy in their daily activities.

Our growth into home and industrial robotics opens new horizons while reinforcing our ability to scale innovation, improve reliability, and accelerate our impact, across our entire portfolio of products and industries. From Paris and New York, our team of over 110 engineers, clinicians, researchers, and operators is united by one mission: to design robotics that improve human life, wherever people need them most!

We’re not just hiring people: we’re building a team of pioneers, curious minds and problem solvers who want to change the world, step by step.

Join us to shape the next generation of medical and humanoid robotics powered by AI and purpose.

Job Description

Wandercraft is hiring its first commercial hire for a groundbreaking industrial robotics platform Calvin-40, the first in the Calvin family of humanoids. This new product builds on our core technical expertise in autonomous, human-safe, bipedal robotics and is designed to transform how physically demanding work is performed in industrial and manufacturing environments across North America and Europe.

As our first commercial hire, you will be a do-it-all generalist, working directly with the Global Head of Marketing and Communications, as well as the co-founders, to launch and scale our humanoid robotics platform. You’ll own the entire commercial pipeline - building, executing, and iterating across the sales and key elements of the marketing stack to bring our next-gen bipedal robots to market.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone with a technical background who thrives on making things happen and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle: lead generation, outreach, responding to inbounds, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing deals,

  • Establish and refine scalable sales processes, CRM, and reporting systems,

  • Monitor and report on commercial KPIs, using insights to iterate and improve strategy,

  • Lead very technical discussions with key audiences in manufacturing and logistics.

Content Creation & Sales Enablement

Account management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, managing ongoing communication, addressing inquiries, and driving joint business development initiatives,

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure partner needs are met and feedback is integrated into product and deployment models,

  • Track and report on partnership performance using KPIs, leveraging insights to iterate on partner strategies and optimize commercial outcomes,

  • Facilitate regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, identify opportunities for growth, and address any challenges or risks,

  • Monitor partner engagement and satisfaction, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to strengthen long-term collaboration.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, automation, or industrial technology, with at least 1+ years in a commercial or customer-facing role (e.g. business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales)

  • Excellent communicator and strategist with a track record of getting deals done

  • Travel flexibility: willing to visit customer sites in North America and Europe, in addition to attending conferences and industry events, including frequent travel between Paris and New York City offices (~70%)
